medical care. This training takes into consideration important factors facing outdoor professionals including extended contact time with patient, distances to definitive care, environmental extremes and limited medical equipment.
Volunteers are ensured a safe and prepared experience on WildPlaces events should a medical emergency arise or not. Medical support equipment and communications are available at all events.
Volunteers may be asked to fill out a pre-event medical report so that staff may be better prepared to address specific medical conditions.
