Clarisse (the Climtate Cow) showed up at the SCICON barbeque, and stood for pictures!  Her presence was a huge success…she’s advocating for responsible climate action and policy making in the Southern Sierra.

Oh yeah…and we were spreading the good word about WildPlaces!  Recruiting volunteers, and educating the community about our programs and events in 2010. The WildPlaces booth was helped by youth board members Fabian Ascenco (pictured) and Rey Pachecho, Ralph Morreno, Laura Childers, Ian Herdell, Emily Creegan, Mehmet McMillan, Anne Taormina and Laura Linton.  Thank you to everyone who volunteered!
