Goldman Environmental Prize 2010

WildPlaces Staff with Goldman Prize winner Lynn Henning at the Goldman Environmental Prize on April 19.  Lynn won the prize for exposing the polluting practices of large-scale factory farms in rural Michigan.  She is an amazing inspiration, as are all of the Goldman Prize winners.  Check out her story and the other winners.

Thanks to the Goldman Environmental Prize for providing WildPlaces with 14 tickets for our staff and youth.  The ceremony was inspirational for us, and especially for the youth participants who came with us.  We hope that they were inspired by the amazing stories of the Goldman Prize winners, and maybe one day will win a prize themselves!
